The 2014 Deaf Festival is on this Saturday!

NSW Deaf Society are pleased to announce an exciting program at the Deaf Festival. The Festival is on 18 October from 10 – 4pm in Parramatta.

The official opening starts at 11.30 with local MP Geoff Lee will be attending. This will be followed by performances from:

  • The Illawarra Groovers hiphop dance group
  • Robert Townsend drummers

There will be a smartphone competition using Instagram. Bring your smartphone along – no experience needed. Prizes to be won!
Our fingers will be given a workout with the Auslan storytelling competition. Bring your creativity. More prizes to be won!

Kids will have a great time on the playground, getting their faces painted, playing games with Deaf Sports Australia and doing craft activities.

Food available includes:
